It's Wednesday the 22nd

There are a lot of things I would like to talk about and a lot of things I don't even want to mention.
Basically: I'm not really inspired.
However, I have a couple of things that I want to talk about today, about what I did and what goes through my mind.
It looks like my confirming blog is more my diary and you guys have to read my bullshit!
But, I will make it interesting and mention something meaningful with every subject.

* Menstruating.
Ok, I admit, I find it disgusting! Who doesn't??
Why oooh why do women have these cycles of blood streaming out of their bodies???
Did you know that only chimpanzees and humans bleed?
Other species have invert menstruation!!! (It's called: estrous cycles)
A woman's first menstruation is termed menarche and starts around the age of 12.
The end of the reproductive phase of a woman is called the menopause, which occurs somewhere between the ages of 45 and 55.
Although the menstrual cycle is necessary for reproduction, I find it absolutely revolting!
Wouldn't be easier when women would just have their period when they want to make babies???
Why do we need to suffer at least 35 years with this bleeding????
So yeah: I got my period today...

* Apartment hunting in NY.
There are choices you can make:
Manhattan or Brooklyn
Apartment or room
Big budget or Small budget
My choices: Brooklyn, room, small budget.
I will end up I think in a shared loft in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Greenpoint is the northernmost neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn and bordered by Williamsburg.
Originally it was farmland and waaaaay earlier it was inhabited by Keskachauge Indians. It was described as remarkably verdant and beautiful, with Jack pine and oak forest, meadows, fresh water creeks and briny marshes. Water fowl and fish were abundant.
Can you imagine that NY had fresh water creeks?????
Only for those reasons I want to live in Greenpoint. I'll feel the connection with the Indians and the meadows, when watching a dvd with the A/C blowing in my face ...

* Halloween costumes
What costume do I wear?
After the Diesel party, I didn't feel like dressing up anymore.
Reason: I put too much effort in looking like Axel Rose because firstly nobody noticed or cared and secondly, my wig ended up in my pants after less than an hour.
But Halloween IS a big deal here so I REALLY want to do it well.
Funny also: in the 10 years I come here, I have never celebrated a Halloween here!
After spending 1 hour in the Halloween store, I wandered through the city and I found what I will be: a sheep!
Trust me: it will look good!
And as promised:
"Halloween has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain (Irish pronunciation. The festival of Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest season in Gaelic culture, and is sometimes regarded as the "Celtic New Year". The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31, now known as Halloween, the boundary between the alive and the deceased dissolved, and the dead become dangerous for the living by causing problems such as sickness or damaged crops."

Thursday night in my couch

* the Coca Cola Zero commercial song sounds a bit too much like a song from Queens of the Stone Age.

* I love "The Fabulous Life of ..."
It's about celebrities, it's about money, it's about what famous people can do and have more because they have $$$ (and yes yes because they can do something we can't ... kind of ... sometimes ...)

* I love True Life on MTV ... It's about people on a certain subject. Like "peer pressure" or "Living with Tourette"
Fuck, Piss, Shit!

* Capricorns and Cancers are the best signs in the world.
There is the Tropic of Capricorn (Southern Tropic), there is the Equator and there is the Tropic of Cancer (Northern Tropic).
Is there like a tropic of Pisces????? a Tropic of Leo ??????
I wouldn't make a deal out of this, if I wasn't a Capricorn of course ... duh

* I hate the Mojito song and I hate the hair in the commercial for NewYorker clothing.

* Seen the new Macbooks and Macbook Pro's ??
Tuesday, one of these babies is MINE!!

* The Diesel party last weekend.
I think Amsterdam had the lousiest party in Diesel party history.
I know this because I was there ...
First of all the busride TO Amsterdam.
3 hours going and 3 hours back also. That makes 6 hours driving.
The party itself was only 5 HOURS!!!
The line up:
Fanklub DJ's ... If I'm not mistaken, these fabulous boys come from ... uuum ... BELGIUM!!
We can see these f*ckers EVERY week!!!
The theme: dress as a threesome ...
In Amsterdam they took it the wrong way and they dressed up as triplets (3same outfits)
or maybe we took it the wrong way: we were dressed up as a famous threesome: like the 3 stooges.
My friends and I went like: Sex Drugs & Rock'n roll.
In my opinion: we were the smartest.

Let's compare this with, uum... let's say the NY Diesel party.
Their line up: NERD, MIA, Hot Chip, Franz Ferdinand ...
They didn't need to dress up in somehting stupid to have fun...
They had fucking GOOD MUSIC!!!!!!!!!

So yeah, Mr Renzo Rosso (Diesel founder) was thinking:
Let's invest everything we have in the NY party and let's tell the suckers in Amsterdam to dress up as a threesome ... huh huh

* Every time when I go to a shoe repair with a good pair of shoes, I'm ALWAYS scared they sold them or ruined them

M. M. M. @ M. M.

Maison Margiela is turning 20 years old and is showing a very nice exhibition in Antwerp.
I went yesterday.
It was a typical belgian Sunday.
Raining. Non Stop! Very windy. 11° C.
I didn't go out, so I took my dear friend out on an exhibition trip.
Entrance € 6.
Dear Martin shows clothing (pieces uniques), shoes, juwelery, pictures and videos.
All set up in the typical white he uses in all his shops, clothes and even his office in Paris.

Check it out.
It's really nice.

Watching a show of Jeremy Scott is not just watching a show.
It's fun, good music and breaks a bit with all the seriousness that sometimes comes with fashion, while it should just be FUN!!

I was wearing my Martin Margiela bodysuit and my Thierry Mugler jacket. It was a hit, with lots of photos taken of MEEEEEE!!
